Something's Fishy

We finally finished our paper mosaic. We were each creating one, but it got a little bit tedious for young artists. So, we worked on this one together. Grams used her paper cutter to cut the construction paper in 1/2" squares. Marcella & Cameron picked out the colors. We drew the fish and some vertical pencil lines to help us keep the columns sorta straight. Marcella added the big fishy lips. Cameron created the eye. The girls added glitter, of course, to complete the underwater effect.

Watercolors

We've been on vacation, but the girls got right back into their artistic mode! They had a lot of fun with watercolors. Marcella painted my orchid, and Cameron created this underwater scene from her imagination. Of course, the glitter had to go on both paintings! I love having little bits of glitter throughout my house... it's like fairy dust!
